Micropigmentation, already used for various aesthetic indications, is now also being used to camouflage baldness fully, localized or to densify regions with low hair density. It has even become a powerful weapon to camouflage post-surgical or accidental scars, including scars on the scalp left by capillary transplants performed in the past. The technique is a non-surgical alternative, fast and economical when compared to hair restoration surgery.
It is a semi-permanent procedure (requires the need of retouching after 2 years of its execution) that disguises the baldness through the darkening of the scalp. For this, an implant of paints with combined colorations is made that artistically produces the illusion of hair, achieving a natural and aesthetic aspect post-realization, especially when looked at with a certain distance of the head.
