Non-surgical Lipo treatments for inch-loss & body contouring. This course is designed to train candidates to provide expert treatments to the highest standards. This will enable you to gain insurance and to commence work legally to perform these treatments in the public sector.
Morning Training day
Full salon health & safety. Methods used to sterilise and sanitise tools and equipment, contra-indications. Full consultation and information including medical contra-indications, pre-treatment considerations and client medical history. Treatment protocols and aftercare procedures. Overview – anatomy & physiology of the skin and the different fat layers, the adipocyte fat cells, classification from the most superficial to the deeper layers,
cellulite anatomy, benefits of the treatment. Describing the physical sensation of the treatment to the client. Circumstances in which a doctor’s referral or ap-proval is required. All relevant tools and equipment, products and their use, how to prepare client for treatment. Preparation of the trolley, preparation of the client, intended use and indications for Fat loss, Skin tightening and Body contouring, the history of ultrasound. Methodology – How ultrasound cavitation works, Safe parameters of machines for effective treatments. Treatment procedures, pre/post treatment requirements, correct client measuring. Operating ultrasound cavitation machine systems, Practice session of various body areas.
Afternoon Training day (Mini assessment on previous day as above)
Treatment room set-up, client consultations, preparing clients for treatment, evaluation of each treatment. Safe parameters of machines for effective treatments. Practice sessions for students to perform ultrasound cavitation on various areas of the body. Client aftercare and homecare advice. Additional treatments that assist Ultrasonic Lipo-cavitation.
